Renault 6 The Renault 6 was presented to the public in 1968. The car fitted exactly between the R4 and the R16. The R6 was mainly based on the R4 and could be delivered with an 845cc 34hp engine or with an 1108cc engine 47hp engine. In 1974 the looks of the R6 were changed. The front grille was black and had square headlights. The production of this car ended in France in 1980. Spain and Argentina produced this model for several years longer..
